The EX1200 mainframes provide industry-leading flexibility to allow system designers
the ability to develop a system today that can grow with future needs. Multiple
mainframe options accept from 2 - 16 modules and range in size from ½ rack 1 U,
to full rack 3 U. An optional, full-featured 6.5 digit DMM is also available.
The EX126x modular mainframes include a full-featured 6.5 digit DMM and can accept
a variety of signal switching and I/O modules. Powerful embedded scanning software
provides test sequencing capabilities to reduce latencies and dramatically improve

Switch and I/O modules can be mixed and matched for flexibility and density. For
example, scanners, multiplexers, power, RF, general-purpose switches, analog output
and digital I/O can all be housed in an EX1200 series mainframe. This provides maximum
flexibility in a minimal footprint.
The EX1200 mainframes include an internal 5-wire analog bus that can be used to
interconnect multiplexer modules to the optional DMM and/or each other to construct
larger matrices. This reduces the amount of external cabling needed for simpler
field wiring. Additionally, the EX1267 and EX1269 have internal high-performance
24-line analog bus options that can accept EX1200 –M series high-density matrix
cards. The internal bus can be used to build large crosspoint matrices internally.
Multiple mainframes can be connected through the external analog bus.
