Automated Test Equipment
(ATE) and Functional Test
Whether you’re testing an automotive ECU, an aircraft avionics LRU or a medical
device such as a pacemaker, in the end, it’s all about making sure that the unit-under-test
meets all of its functional criteria. Our VXI and LXI modular signal and I/O solutions
have led the industry in providing the highest level of density and flexibility
and are at the heart of many major core testers across the world.
Temperature,
Voltage and Pressure
In the world of high performance data acquisition the most common measurements are
of temperature, pressure and conditioned transducers. VTI co-developed the LXI specification
which has helped set the bar for high-performance distributed measurements. Our
integrated signal conditioning solutions save time and money by simplifying installation
and setup.
Structural and Strain test
Aerospace and civil test engineers continue to push the boundaries of structural
design by doing ‘real-world’ testing on scale models and proofing of final constructions.
VTI has the experience in measuring strain at the highest level of integrity with
installations ranging from 10 to over 10,000 channels for test applications such
as aircraft fatigue and transport tunnel stresses. We have been selected by the
world’s two largest structural test companies as their measurement supplier based
on our data integrity and performance qualities.
NVH and DSA
VTI NVH and DSA products have been known as the ‘gold standard’ in the industry
for many years. We have the largest installed base of any DSA product in the world
with applications from vibration test and aircraft flutter with 100’s of channels
measuring synchronously. As new applications continue to drive the need for increased
measurement performance, we continue to develop products and systems with new initiatives
and multiple platforms.
Signal Routing
and Distribution
Why spend big money on expensive instrumentation and a quality product design, only
to corrupt the test with poor signal switching? At VTI we don’t believe that signal
routing is simply throwing a relay onto a circuit board and providing some control
features. We’ve worked hard for many years to provide switching integrity that maintains
the signal fidelity throughout the signal path. We select the very best relays industry
has to offer giving us the flexibility to create the best in the industry.
